Welcome to November! Now relax.

With Samhain behind us and Christmas on the horizon, November is usually a busy month. It's the National Novel Writing Month in a number of countries, it's also Movember for all the men out there and it's the month we spend frantically getting prepared for December, Christmas AND New Years. So here's an idea - take a few moments to relax and get yourself in a good place for the month to come!

Honey Body Scrub
20g Salt Flakes
40g Brown Sugar
40g Sorbolene Cream
15g 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil
10g Honey (at room temperature)

Combine all ingredients, scrub should be slightly runny. Apply a small amount to the desired area and massage in a circular motion. Leave on the skin for 15 minutes then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Not intended for use on the face, can be stored in a sealed container for up to 1 month.

Chocolate Face Mask
1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
1/4 Cup Thickened Cream
2 Tsp Cottage Cheese
1/4 Cup Honey (at room temperature)
3 Tsp Quick Oats

Combine all ingredients till evenly mixed. Use finger tips to apply evenly to face and gently massage in a circular motion. Leave on the skin for 15 minutes then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Not intended for use in sensitive areas, avoid the eye area and store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 month.

Milk Skin Soak
1 Cucumber (any variety)
3/4 Cup Quick Oats
1 1/2 Cups Powdered Milk
3/4 Cup Bi-carb Soda
3 Tbs Cornflour
2 Tsp Cream of Tartar
2 Tsp Cinnamon (or other spice of choice)
Essential Oil if desired
500ml Warm Water

Combine all dry ingredients and essential oils if you choose to use them. Either store in a sealed container for up to 6 months or combine with warm water. Thinly slice the cucumber and place a slice on each eye to help refresh and tone your eyes.

You can combine all these things in one big day of pampering along with your favorite drinks and some relaxing music or use them individually. The big thing to remember is not to stress yourself out and to make sure you take some You-Time.
